• Question: What will happen when we run out of fossil fuels?

      I don’t think we’ll suddenly run out one day, but rather as the oil and gas reserves start to run low, and it becomes more and more difficult to extract the remaining fuel we will see the price of oil rocket up and that will push us into looking for alternative energy generation methods. However, I hope we have made the step long before that, because if we burn all the fossil fuels we know about already, we will do huge damage to the environment.

      As well as for energy, oil is used to create plastics, and it’s not clear how we could do without those. I guess for now we just need to Reduce, Re-use and Re-cycle!
