INteresting question, the 2 key properties of oxygen are:

      1. At a normal temperatue and pressure, two atoms of oxygen join to form O2 which is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas.

      2. Oxygen is the chalcogen group in the periodic table which is a highly reactive non-metal group.

Interesting fact – liquid oxygen is actually blue!!
