  Yes there is! Scientists have found bacteria and fungi that can survive thousands of kilometres in the sky in clouds. It’s not a very good place to live as it’s cold and dry but they do live up there! Although most the bacteria are harmless it is thought that this could be one way that diseases could spread round the Earth.
