  I’m not an expert on this, but as far as I know, antimatter is not a very efficent way to generate power and anitmatter reactions may well be quite dangerous, too.

  I agree with Sascha. I believe that at the moment there are too many unknowns to concider it a viable source of energy. We have to understand the fully understand the science behind first before we try to harnest it.
