• Question: When people get a life threatening illness, what would be the chance of them surviving

      It depends on a number of factors really, such as how early on was it spotted and treatment started, what disease is it, what drugs are available, age of the person etc. Each disease will have a different survival rate but this also depends on other factors that i’ve mentioned above so it’s hard to come up with a general chance of people surviving. For example 96% of women survive breast cancer for at least a year though this was examined in a specific age range.
