I think it must be our dependence on fossil fuels. We need to stop relying on burning a finite resource for the simple reason that it won’t last forever, and while it does last, using it is doing horrendous damage to our planet – and in the end to us and our descendants. The sooner we can move to a fully low-carbon economy the better.
