New methods for treating various cancers are being discovered. Specifically for blood cancer, there has been a new treatment method for treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which uses artificially activated anti-tumour cells to destroy the cancer cells. The first patient to be treated by this method in clinical trials is currently in remission.
