Maybe. We don’t really know if a baby feels pain while going through the birth canal, it is difficult for us to find out what a baby senses at that stage. However, as far as I know, many doctors believe that it is not real pain that babies feel when they are born.

Having seen several of my own be born – I guess it must be at least a bit uncomfortable. Babies cry when they are hungry, in pain, or generally just want something, and the first thing a baby does after being born is to cry. So I guess it has something to complain about!
