• Question: Do you think that all O+ (Universal donor) should be forced to donate blood? Unless they have already had other people's blood

      That’s a very interesting and clever idea – and I think this would be very helpful to a lot of people. However, I don’t think that we should force people to donate blood, as all people should be able to make decisions related to their body and physical health themselves. What we can and should do though, is to raise awareness and encourage people to donate blood, and explaining to them that it is very harmless but can be very helpful to other people.

    Well if it’s compulsory that we can’t really talk about ‘donating’ anymore, more like ‘compulsory draining’ (I’m sorry but a number of films come to mind including ‘Daybreakers’). You can encourage people to willingly donate blood but it has to be their own decision as otherwise you are abusing their basic human right – the right to control what happens to their own bodies.
